Monticello Ar | We run cfx 750 units and the xp/hp option runs me 1500 per unit. The rtx signal will cost me 1650 according to the guy the does subscriptions. 2 different dealers told me it would cost me 4000 for upgrades and unlock codes per unit to go rtk. The annual fee for rtk signal is $2000 per year with up to 4 units. It will cost me $5000 for signal this year. At this rate it will cost me $25000 over the next 5 years for signal. If I go to rtk next year it will cost $25000 over the next 5 years. After that it will cost me $3000 per year less. We are also planning on getting another tractor next year with another unit. If we do the signal savings will help pay for the upgrades. Atleast that's my thinking. Also I like the repeatable signal over the drift u get with omnistar. Our next unit will have the fmx 1000 unit so we can do land leveling and run levees. This option will also help save more time and money. Funny how easy it is to justify these expenses. | |
