Zabcikville, TX
I don't farm, but help my brother who took over when dad retired. I drive a Terra-Gator half of the year and haul cotton the other half. I love being outside and growing things. Like others have said, the value of seeing a calfs first breaths and watching it stumble to its mother to get its first meal, planting a tiny seed and caring for it for half a year and see your work come to fruition is priceless. I brag to others "I've never lived on a paved road" is special to me. Our home town is about 1400 people, I wouldn't want it any other way. I also feel the ups and downs of the ag economy, weather and such. If you guys don't have the money to spend or conditions aren't perfect to make the crop y'all deserve, I feel it too. I am involved, if only indirectly. Thanks for all os the rersponses!
