The remote might work fine. But, the best solution I've seen for trying to adjust while bouncing is the radio bracket that Ford-NH offers in the Genesis tractors. It has 2 grab-handles on either side of the radio faceplate. When you get ready to adjust, you just rest your hand on the handle & make adjustments w/the fingers. No more abrupt volume changes.
