Central Illinois | After many calls to my dealer and Omni-Star, can to a few conclusions. First we swapped the AG25 antenna for a new one (ver. B). This really stabilized the satellite count at any given time. Changing to RTX S instead of FS gave less times of degraded signal but brought on a longer convergence time. Came to realize that in our area that there are times that not enough birds are visible. Have also been told that the FMX (or the 750) software is not capable of utilizing GLONASS at this time. Not sure which service is worth subscribing to yet. Steve | |
