Kaukauna WI | Brent, we are already a bare-bones facility. Our one worker costs about $30,000 a year and milks 11 times a week (2x/day), in a flat barn parlor. For the other 3 milkings a week, we hire a teen. I think we are a little long in the tooth for a robot system. I think you guys in Canada can afford them because you get paid a lot more for your milk:-) JMO! I cannot see our lazy cows getting up to get milked unless prompted.
