As the others said, you can drag the tab, or right click and choose "move" to place a tab where you want. When you create new tabs, you can start from the tab to the right of where you want one to end up. Right click that tab, then choose "insert". Then choose "worksheet". That will add the new tab in the middle of the sequence. You can rename it then. I don't know of any built-in method to automatically sort worksheet tabs. It can be done at the macro level, and probably has been by someone who has created utility packs for Excel. |
