Crowbar, what torque did you tighten the lock nuts too? Abilene didn't send the blocks so I made a flyin trip to Abilene last night to get the new blocks. I took my old front crankshaft with me and it's a good thing I did. 6 of the 20 new blocks wouldn't fit so I mixed and matched and got 20 that would fit so so. I don't think there was a set cut the same in the entire batch. This morning I started to put them on and noticed none of the good ones were cut to fit perfect too so I hand fit each one with a die grinder a bit. The grooves that were cut for the rings were not true with the bore of the block. I don't know where they get these made but I wouldn't buy them again knowing what I do now. After had fitting each one and clamping them on a journal to make sure they spun freely, I finally put the straw walkers in. This took my most of the day doing it by myself. I like Ben at Abilene but almost every aftermarket part I've bought from them either doesn't fit very good or not at all.
