| It will work great for spraying and spreading fert. All you have to do is hook up the boom sence adapter to whatever 12v switch controls your sprayer boom to make it paint where you have already been in the field. I just toggle the same switch when spreading fertilizer to make it paint for that too.
I am not sure of how much value the Cruizer 2 will be planting if you have to steer it manually. IMO, it would be a nightmare trying to plant steering manually using any guidance system and I think you'll probably give up on that idea rather quickly.
I know you probably don't think you'll get into steering, automatic boom control, planter shut-offs, etc, but I think you'll be suprised at how much you want to keep building on the system to make your life eaiser once you get a Cruizer 2. I don't farm many acres and I still am finding it addicting to keep adding all the things that I thought I would never need.
