Sort of Central to North Central Iowa
1586 has planetary gears in the rear end vs. bull and pinion in the 1486 and smaller. We had a worn out 1586 for several years that we used to plant with our 800 12row VF, cultivate and haul loads. It had 18.4-42's, which made it go down the road almost as fast as our 1086. We previously planted with the 1086, but two axle bearing replacements caused us to get the 1586. It worked well for the heavy 3 pt. work. Downside was 1 high was about the only gear for fieldwork.
