Subject: Desperate times leads to desperate solutions

SWMO
With corn yields in the 0-45 bu range and hay in short supply, running material thru combine then baling seems to be the best solution. The ears are so small that it is near impossible to set with out massive corn header loss. Also saves on cutting and raking costs and leaves lower 10 inches of stalk to reduce Nitrate poisoning. Rotor is set faster than normal which seems to reduce stalk size for baling.
Cutting at an angle for a more even feed into the cutter bar.
