Subject: looking to get started

Nebraska, The land of corn and cattle
We are considering dipping our toes into the precision ag world and we have a couple questions.

First off we have a 2001 R62 gleaner with the fieldstar monitor in it. what all are your opinons on it? or should we go with something like an ag leader?

Second, we are not planning on getting into autosteer or anything like that just yet. but we would like to invest our money wisely and are planning to see what happens with the lightsquared deal before we stick our money into something that may be a paper weight. Whats a good system that you can build on in the future? Right now the most complicated we would get would be a lightbar and monitor.

Third, if we went with say an agleader can you get rid of the old planter monitor? or do you have to keep it to watch some of the planter functions? It would be on a 6700 series White.

Thanks guys
