Subject: RE: Wiring Direct Injection up to GS 2 rate controller

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
We have cables to do this with a Deere Rate controller running a Raven Accuflow for NH3 and a Raven SideKick Injection console to work with the Direct Injection pump for N-Serv.

With this setup, the Deere Rate controller handles the NH3 part and the Raven Sidekick handles the N-Serv part. The Raven system starts/stops based on what the Deere system is doing.

Essentially the Sidekick console needs to "know" when a section or sections are ON. It amounts to splicing on to the ON/OFF valve trigger wire and running this back to the Raven Sidekick 16 pin Tee connector. Pin #6 is for Boom 1, Pin #2 is for Boom 2, Pin #5 is for Boom 3.

When the rate controller turns on a section by applying 12v to the trigger wire for the valve, this 12V also finds its way to the Raven console. The pump will start and run at a speed determined by the target rate, boom width, ground speed etc.
