hinfarm: A JD 8310 is one size bigger then a MX220. CaseIH tractors use the gross engine hsp figures as their model #. The 220 MX would probably be at least 20 hsp. short of a 8310. Just saying. Another thing if you are comparing the generation two MX's 255 and 285 with the same year Deeres the Case will will look real short because of the infamous CAPS fuel system. That system has hurt resale real seriously. Generation three models, 275, 305 etc. appear to hold their value a little better.
