Central, MN | Thanks for the reply Omar, I read some place else about pulling the memory out. So pulled the memory out and reseated it did the same for the video card. Checked the fans, one on the main processor, one on the video card, and the power supply. All ran ok. Not much dust in it. Don't think it's a heat issue as it freezes on a cold start before anything has a chance to warm up. The mother board looks clean couldn't find any spots that looked hot.
After that started it up and as soon as everything was loaded it froze up again. Rebooted and now it's been running for awhile. The other day I went into msconfig and disabled a lot of the startup stuff thats not needed so it fires up pretty fast. Now if I could just figure out whats making it freeze up. | |
