| What you want to do is called freeze pane. you can freeze one side, the top or both. Basically you would click on the first uppermost cell to the right of what you want fixed and then go to freeze pane comand and click on it. At that point everything to the left and above that point will remain and everything else moves which allows you to scroll over to the right and work but the left and the top if you chose it will be fixed. It depends on what version you have as to where the comand is located.
