Subject: RE: Cost per page to operate printer?

Clinton County, Michigan
I don't know what a good average cost per page is, but I have usually found Laser is slightly cheaper. I just did a real quick comparison; on a HP Laserjet P1102W remanufactured cartridge is $0.0231 per page. A HP Photosmart D110A inkjet cartridge is $0.03 per page (just high yield black, remanufactured.)
I'm not partial to HP, but we have had good luck with their laser printers. We also have a Canon inkjet. In either case remanufactured inkjet cartridges are much better value. I am not sure about the a reman-laser because HP has a lot of evidence that says their new cartridge is better (go figure).
If you want to research a cost a little bit, find what printer you are interested in, and then go to 123inkjets.com. Search for that printer and find the cartridge needed, and then they give you a cost per page in the "technical specifications"
