I was sorta worried about that too. However I got to comparing things to the original IH tailings input auger and a few other machines, and I kind of figured that the gearbox being so over big would more than have enough bearing size and seperation. ?? I did however leave the stub at the top end of the auger so if I did need a bearing, I could easily install one. Thanks for the kind words.
