Manitoba | Just the past day or two Ive been ocasionaly getting this message.
"Files that are required for windows to run properly have been replaced by unrecognized versions. To maintain system stability Windows must restore the original version of those files. Insert your Windows XP Home edition CD now. "
When I try this it tells me the version on the CD is out of date compared to whats on the computer. We've had the computer automatically update from Microsoft for years.
Is this a scam? It looks legit but Im not sure about it. Thanks. | |
