Leesburg, Ohio | We put almost all of PP's stuff on our new-to-us 1790 this spring...esets, airforce, row-flow hydraulic drives, clean sweep, (and True-count clutches). I was a bit worried after spending two weeks "hanging stuff on" the planter whether it would all work the first time. Some of it didn't, but quickly found the problems, and they were all self-inflicted. I had switched the air lines in the wrong order on one half of the planter, so the controller was cutting off the wrong clutches...switched the lines, and no problem. Had a couple other items set up wrong in the monitor. a bit of re-programming, and we were good to go.
This is in contrast to literally spending days on the phone a couple years ago trying to get a Rawson drive to run.
It all seems kinda complicated, but it actually worked, made life easier, and the corn looks good coming up. | |
