Because they wouldn't be able to sell you a second $3000 RTK activiation and $500 radio!!   I agree, it seems very do-able.  Deere is a little steep on their  activation pricing,  but as much as they sell and as well as it integrates into THEIR equipment I doubt they will ever get in line.
