SE South Dakota | Is the "wiggle" in the rows caused but the steering of the tractor or is just the planter "wiggling" in soft ground. I have noticed the softer the field the more "wiggle" I have in my rows. It could be the tractor and /or the planter moving around in the soft surface conditions.
JD SF2 used here.
The thought of not planting into a level seedbed brings to mind about having your TCM calibrated level as best you can. You would have wiggle in your row if planting on less than level field conditions if your TCM isn't calibrated.
