Bourbon, Indiana | I bought the remote today for my ez guide 500 and the only place to plug it in is on the back of the screen using the same port that I'm currently using to send GPS signal to my ipaq for variety logging. I thought they plugged into the back of the black box somewhere where my foot switch is currently plugged into. Is this right? If so it's not gonna work for me cuz I have to have a gps signal to my ipaq unless theres someway to split it.
Also plugging it in works ok except that the buttons don't match up to what they say they do. I wonder if I have the plug for the ez guide plus and not the 500. dealer wasn't sure.
