West Central Iowa | I had a uterine prolapse as you described a few years back and the vet told me that she should be fine for breeding as it is not hereditary. On the other hand, rectal prolapses are hereditary and cows that have had one should be culled from the herd. As I recall I was to remove the stitch about about 2-3 weeks after getting everything put back inside. | |
