| Got it figured out with a little help from Outback. If anyone else is interested: Looking at the GSI connector on the back of the console, pin 1 is in the upper left corner and the pin count goes around counter-clockwise with pin 6 in the middle.
Pin 1 = 12V Power In
Pin 2 = GSI signal out
Pin 3 = Ground.
Pin 4 = n/c (actually a chassis ground)
Pin 5 = n/c
Pin 6 = n/c
