Subject: Re: GS2 Rate Controller pressure transducer

Northeast Nebraska
Looked at my manual today..... Deere obviously is dumber than hell.

In the manual it clearly states
pin 29 "pressure sensor ground"
Pin 30 "pressure sensor #1 5vdc"
Pin 31 "pressure sensor #1 signal"

In the manual, it is only showing one way to calibrate the pressure sensor. You are suppose to install a gauge at the sensor, it turns flow on, then you enter in the pressure that the gauge is reading.

I went to calibrate my sensor today and I had 2 options. One was like mentioned above, and the other was to enter in how many mv/psi. On this page I believe it said something about a 12 volt sensor. My sensor did not work today. My rate controller quit working as well. Got it to the field today and the section valves started acting eratically. Section 1 will turn valve 1 on and valve 2 off. Section 2 is controlling valves 3 and 4. Sections 3 and 4 are doing nothing. I'm getting pissy about the whole situation to say the least. And then mother Deere can't even put it in plain english whether you need a 5 volt or 12 volt sensor. Genius engineers.
