EC IA | Bought a new TV at christmas time & am supposed to be able to use it as a monitor.
So I was bored today & thought I'd give it a try, but can't seem to get it to work.
TV is a SAMSUNG HD LCD. Laptop is a IBM T43 with XP pro. I am connecting
with a VGA cable. I know I have the TV set to recieve through the VGA cable, but
it says it is not recieving any data. Do I need to change a setting some where to send
a signal out my VGA port ? The resolution on the TV is 1920 x 1080. I think the
highest my laptop is capable of is 1024 x 768. Could that be a problem ? TIA
