Centre county Pennsylvania, USA | David, The podcast is a 283MB .mp4 file. I downloaded it using XP machine. Download time was 5 minutes using comcast.net cable ISP. The pdf file downloaded in about 15 seconds using same machine and ISP.
The downloaded pdf file opened using (free) SumatraPDF reader. The downloaded podcast (.mp4 file) squawked that it needs a downloadable media reader (other than Microsoft Media player). Because most other media readers include flash cookie capability I have no other media readers installed on any of my machines, so I didn't open the downloaded podcast.
If your download problem is not security setting, my guess is that either your machine or ISP is aborting your download because it's too large. |
