Get yourself a $40 transfer cable from your computer house with the software already in it. Plug it into both machines and ....ZIP!...pretty easy.
There's a buncha programs not compatable between XP and 7. Of course, they are compatable if you spend the extra money for the Windows Professional! Just takes a bit more cash, that's all.
