michigan		the only thing i would say about building a lump grate is build it with big enough holes in it to let lumps go through that will not get caught in slide. i know a guy who built one and the bars were to close together and it plugged the whole off and then a vac would not pull them through. i seen another guy that had his get pligged with soybean pods and we ended up cutting a hole in the bin to vac them out. so make sure whatever you build is not to small where it can plug also it can happen
