Aberdeen MS | to switch early June last I heard "here". New phone should arrive within the next 2 weeks.
It's the same campaign as the Alltel switch over.
Verizon took over Alltel "here" about a year and a half ago. I'm right at the territory line where Alltel goes either to Verizon or AT&T.
I wasn't pleased with the Verizon switch and did a lot better with Unicel (service and price). Shortly after, I found out that now I will be AT&T. Service at this time for AT&T is ZERO for the farm. Visitors on the yard with AT&T ask to use my phone to call out.
Sprint coverage is worse than Verizon.
Currently am thinking of going back to Verizon and staying with my Razor phone, the smart phone option I thought would make operations easier so far has been a flop.
I don't use the net outside of the office, the "PDA" portion of the phone is harder to use than my PDA is. Thinking the Toughbook in the cab will take care of the PDA issues.
