southern MN | I know all the magazines and pros say the tower is dead, but like others here, I like my main computer to be a desktop tower setup. Easier to putz with, nicer monitor, etc. Thought it was just me, but see others are saying the same.
I got a Brother laser printer a couple years ago, it is wired or wireless, we like it very well. It does _not_ do color but that is ok with us, we have an inkjet or 2 lying around and find we really don't use color much..... The Brother has been top-notch for us, print wirelessly from several computers around the house including Apples and PCs. Ours is a model HL-2170W. Actually we bought a 2nd one for a different location, they work well for us.
I got really tired of the ink cartidge games that HP & Epson started playing, and the reliability of those printers any more.... If you can live in a black & grey & white world, give laser a look. And the wireless part works great too.
