I think this is bwire's very polite way of saying that you are in over your head, Schroeder!  ;)  LOL!

I tend to think that demand of processors has not leveled off. New operating system versions are requiring much more processing power than past versions - same as has been happening all along. With the additional power, developers will find ways to utilize it.

It will be interesting however, to see what the future holds with cloud computing on the horizon. The need for all the power will be reduced - and desktops computers may very well share the same processors as their mobile counterparts.
