I had a conversation about this just this week. As long as grain and fuel go up together, fuel price doesn't really matter. Returns on fuel more than offset the added cost of fuel and other fuel related inputs. Not that I really want to see it but when corn goes up a $1.00, thats a lot of money per acre to offset additional expense. |
