Its geared kinda odd, I would need to look to give you an exact ratio. The 9 speed has plenty of low end, but top speed is 65 @ 2400 rpm. We have had great luck with ours (only 90k miles, the motor was remaned at 70K which is normal for the amount of idling the ex-delivery trucks encounter). The 3116's do have a poor repuation, make sure the top end is in good condition, and they do seem to like to leak some oil. We have air brakes on ours and it has the luber finer setup on it, which may be why the motor has held up so well. I wish it had more power and speed for hauling grain, but it drives just like a pick-up and the 145 wheelbase is nice for getting around, I actually prefer it over our 3500 dodge daully (easier to see around and easier back-ups). The schwann's trucks might have the funky frames (lowered center) like the beverage bodies, which wouldn't be a huge deal if you can build your own frame.
