I know nothing about Wild Blue, but I do know that if you'll only be 1 mis from the Verizon tower, you'll have very-very respectable internet speed, and it'll be portable. Also, they're gradually updating to the "4G" system which is supposed to be 10x faster than their present system. They tell us it'll be here in less than 1 yr.
