Rock County, MN | There is a registry scanner built into windows already; on the start menu select all programs / Accessories / Command Prompt - right click in Vista/7 and run as administrator/enter UAC. At the prompt type sfc /scannow and press enter; have XP disk available if applicable and follow directions - the program will run itself and identify and or correct any errors. However a computer can run for 10 years without a registry scan. | |
