| I agree with you on the calculators. You are talking about computer and how they are dumbing down kids. I am starting to change what I think about dumbing down kids. Kids can do have access to so much more information than I was in high school. I think parents and teachers need to push thinking skills.
Let us look at this another way. Look at tractors. When my dad bought his 3020 in 1968, we thought the tractor was pretty complicated when compared to the Ford 8N. Nowadays, people have tractors than drive themselves. So can anyone drive a straight line without gps. I never could make a straight enough row for my dad. So are we dumbing down farmers with the new tractors. Just thoughts. | |
