Subject: Forcing drive letter designation

Installed a new hard drive in my main computer. For some reason it designated the hard drive as letter G:

Took me a little while to figure out why the drivers were not loading but was able to get everything re-installed except a HP photsmart P-1000 printer. Downloaded the driver from HP site but it will not run because it auto assumes all hard drives should be letter C:

Any way I can force this installer to recognize G as the letter designator ? Any way I can rename G as C without screwing everything up? Have no idea why it auto selected G instead of C for designated drive.

Really don't want to have to do all of this over just to get C as hard drive but I really need to be able to print from this computer ?

Thoughts or suggestions ?
