Subject: Wireless "hotspot" for farm

Current system consists of internet service into shop office.  Shop office has a Netgear wnr834b wireless router spreading signal in office.  The router sits on a window sill and I can pick up a weak signal at house 200ft away.  I can only get signal at ‘line-of-sight’ window of house.  It just doesn’t work too well.

What kind of system can I put together to make farm into a wireless “hotspot”?  Ideally I would like to have internet service at farm shop/office, router with wireless throughout shop/office for multiple computers, access within farmstead yard/buildings/vehicles, full wireless access for multiple computers within house 200ft away, and possibly additional access to another house 500ft away.  Is it possible?  What would I need?

Also looking to switch internet providers….do not have access to cable dsl currently.  Need something faster than the wireless service currently provided.  What are thoughts on satellite services (ie Hughesnet, Wildblue, DTN, etc.)?  Thanks.
