Would you be putting new 3000 pusher units on an older 2000 6 row or does the dealer have a lead on used 2000 pushers? New pushers on a 2000 planter would make a pretty unique planter I would think.

Did he quote you a price to add the double frame and pushers? I wouldn't be suprised if it would cost more to add the pushers and frame than the whole 2000 is worth.

If it was me and I didn't want to buy new and couldn't find one with dry fertilizer, I would be looking at buying a used 3000 6/11 without fert. and then add the fert. package and the double frame. I think that may be the most economical way to go.

You might want to check with Carl F. Statz in Waunakee. Talk to Ken Ziems. I think they sometimes get trade -ins and sell them before they even chance to put them on Tractorhouse. I'd let him know what you are looking for so you are first in line to get the trade.
