Subject: Regression analysis of grain truck variables to develop a pricing model

Kansas
Wondered if any of you could help me out.

I'm in the market for a grain truck and I'm trying to put together a pricing model using regression analysis. The data I'm collecting are: year, horsepower, mileage, type of box (steel/aluminum), transmission (auto, standard), and, of course, price as listed on various dealers' lots. My problem is that I keep getting a negative coefficient for horsepower. In other words, the higher the horsepower, the less it's worth. What the heck?

I'm also posting this over in Machinery Talk to see if anyone there can help me out.
