you guys don't see the trees through the forest!
you gobbly gook stuff that is just mere noise and has nothing to do with what is transpiring out there. It the ain't supply/demand equation doofie!
Number one, the CME instituted raising of margin requirements on silver last week, silver was seen as the sacrificial lamb in stopping these runaway commodity freight trains due to the heavily obscured long positions.
This sent reverberations out through the pits and sent the rats scurrying out covering there positions on all fronts. The margin clerks had there pencils all sharpened and were salivating at the tsunami of Johnnie come lately specs that would be beating there doors down covering there @$$es.
The spill over effect ensued as margins had to be met and winners were sold to cover losers and so on, and so on , and this is still transpiring today as the consolidation phase continues unabated.
Another "HUGE" situation unfolding that does not get mentioned here is the EURO taking a pounding due to the Ireland/PIGGS effect as the world is abandoning one fiat currency in lieu of another, the US feebleback that is in bankruptcy proceedings.
How this is going to play out is anybodies guess. Markets loath uncertainty , hence the sell offs and yes, the markets seem historically to unravel just before the US Thanxgiving holiday fest. But that's mere theory in conjuncture.
Every market out there was ripe for the plucking and the bird is being plucked as we speak.
