| You can't go wrong with a Macbook or Macbook Pro. Get it with the iwork. The larger the memory the better. 300+ GB is recommended.
I bought an Apple for our home computer 3 years ago and it is still working flawlessly. I owned PC's before that and would only get a year out of them before things started to slow down and get viruses.
Mac will not get viruses and will not slow down. there are no programs running that you don't ask to run.
Definitely pay a little more for an apple. You won't look back.
You can also go to the apple website and find refurbished macs for sale at a little cheaper.
