S.E. Sask. | Well I am desperate having tried everything I can think of besides professional help. My computer will not play sounds, no matter if its cd or online music.
I had a computer crash a few months back and was able to get windows xp working again but only as long as the windows startup cd is installed. Ever since then I have had no sound. The device manager tells me there is no audio device installed.
My question is, where do I go to get an audio device if thats what it takes to play sounds? I'm thinking it should be on the windows xp disk but am unable to find it.
