Put in Dells XP disc and nothing happens can't get it to do anything. Can't get it to boot from it or anything.

I think it must have been doing something critical during the shutdown and maybe toast. If I could get to safe mode and use last known good configuration I think it would be okay.

Panda is now officially on my hated list along with windows update. Both have caused serious trouble with unrecoverable machines here.
