| You are right about the Wii. We just signed up for Netflix the other day and yesterday I got the Wii disk in the mail. Haven't tried it out yet though, but I see no reason why it wouldn't work. Apple's new AppleTV that is coming out soon will stream Netflix and any streaming video from YouTube or the iTunes store to the TV as well - only $99.
As for Netflix - love it so far. Watched a lot of online streaming stuff and just added some DVD's to the queue. The streaming either works really well or really poorly - nothing in between. Seems like 8-10 pm are the worst times. Have had a lot more good experiences than bad so far though.
I haven't watched network TV hardly at all the past 2 years or so. I find most of the shows I want to watch on the net - and I watch them when I want, most without ads. Only problem with this method is finding the material - spread out among numerous sites. Netflix is nice as it puts it all on one site. Well worth the $9/month IMO. | |
