The advice you gave is what people familiar with computers would give. That's good but the poster hints at already being aware of that route and would evidently pay for a simpler solution. "" John's obviously spent a lot of time and money developing his profession. Most of his business is knowledge. How much of that should he give away for free?
John gives lots of good free information. Read his posts. If a post interests me enough to read it, I hope he posts his views on it and look forward to reading it. I don't know much but I have built a few computers and a I do the trouble shooting and networking for a small accounting firm. Enough to recognize good advise.
I believe John is conforming to the rules of business on this site quite well.
John, thanks for your time posting here. Please keep up the good work.
