Cedar Rapids, Iowa | Right click the task bar (left of the clock, just on the bar, not on any of the programs), and you will get an option for "Task Manager". Open task manager and go to the Performance tab. You will see two graphs. The bottom one is memory utilization. If that is within 90% of what the computer actually has for memory, you will see slowness and more memory will help.
The top graph is processor load. If that is pegged at 100% load, you have a problem. Occasional spikes to 100% are fine. | |
