| What is the best way to transfer files from one PC to another? I just bought a new desktop. Im having problems with my current desktop and Im just curious if I run the risk of transferring a virus. Is there a program I can run the files through to check for virus on the new computer? I use AVG free so can I just run a scan on the old computer and as long as it comes up clean, assume it is safe to transfer? I have a 5gb portable HD and plenty of flash memory to use to transfer stuff. Is there a better way? I dont want to buy any expensive cables or open up the computer so I assume my options are limited? Thanks in advance. | |
