southern Illinois
If you had a dolly of some kind a 3/4 ton will work just fine but the tongue weight on a 12/24 is 2500 lbs folded up for road travel so I don't think your 1000 lbs hitch that most 3/4 ton trucks will hold that up.
I built a dolly to pull mine with the pick up years ago when I farmed and planted with the same tractor a lot, I was always needing to get the planter to a different location.
I just pulled this 3600 about 100 miles this summer to its new home here, pulls real good.
Just took a 6000 lb house trailer axle and narrowed it up and made a mount with a pin sticking up. Just jack the planter up and roll the dolly under and let it down, hook to the truck and drive.
